NURSERY 10:30 am worship service

The nursery is near the sanctuary and ready for parents with young children who are not quite old enough for Sunday School but need a place to be during worship. With a private bathroom and changing table, age-appropriate toys, and rocking chair we know you will be comfortable having your young children stay. Children of all ages are always welcome to stay in worship with their parents.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

We have a dedicated nursery space for small children to play during worship, and Sunday School teachers are available for elementary school children during worship time.

Throughout the liturgical year activities designed for children are included in worship such as the parade of palms on Palm Sunday and of course, the traditional Christmas pageants.

CONFIRMATION CLASS

Every few years we conduct a special class for youth who are preparing to become full members of the congregation. Confirmation is a dedicated time, typically in the late winter and early spring, that examines what it means to be a member of a church. We examine history, doctrines, confessions and creeds, prayer, and polity. It is our hope that at the end of this class our youth will be prepared to claim their own faith in Jesus Christ and join Christ's church in full ministry. If you have a middle school or high school age youth in your family that would enjoy strengthening their faith and joining the church, complete the Contact Us Form and a member of our Christian Education program will contact you.

MONTREAT YOUTH CONFERENCE (High School)

Each summer our youth have the opportunity to travel to Montreat North Carolina to join with around 1200 other Presbyterian youth in worship, small groups, and fellowship. This one week conference is highlighted by wonderful keynote messages, strong and even challenging preaching, dynamic worship, and engaging small groups. The week is open to rising High School freshman through just graduated Seniors.
